The End

18 May 2008 | Ft Lauderdale, Fl
Our journey has come to an end. Two years of traveling, meeting so many amazing people and so many different countries was just incredible. Now the question comes up which country I liked the best? I thought a lot about it, every country had something different to offer. I liked them all ! The beaches ,the water, the people, the culture, the rain forest, quiet anchorages in secluded bays, gorgeous sunsets I'll miss it already. I also had a lot of fun writing my blog, which I originally started for our family's in Germany and Canada. However it escalated into a site visited by all kinds of people, who enjoyed our trip from various places like offices, homes or vacation. I have received so many e- mails from people I don't even know, saying how much they enjoy my blog.
I want to thank our family's who worried about us often, especially on long passages, waiting for an update on the blog or a phone call on skype. I also want to thank all the friends we made from all over the world , who visited us on Horizons stayed with us, dined with us, danced with us, explored with us and hopefully had a lot of fun with us. Each and everyone is very special and all those good memories are very precious to us. I would not want to have missed any of them. A special thank you to Tim Harincar the web master who made this wonderful blog possible. The blog will stay on line until further notice and who knows there might (will) be another adventure........
