We finally made what we Pacific Northwest folks call the "Big Left Turn". So we are now at sea, sailing under full canvas, doing 7 knots. Of course we are sailing (beating) South into a SE wind. Oh well. The seas are up a bit, but not too bad for 20 Kts of apparent wind.
Heading offshore for better wind angles forecasted by our weather router Ken (and his friend Noah, or is it NOAA) - who has been spot on so far.
