Huzzah Cruising the Northwest

We are currently in Berkeley Ca. I attended a celestial navigation class this evening with some really interesting, friendly folks at Berkeley YC. But without a sextant, I was merely an observer. Whew, shure glad I don't have to take positions all the way to the South Pacific! The reduction tables and plot paper made my head hurt😆

So after taking sights to the West, we were able to observe the new eclipse to the East. Very cool. Enjoy the pic (credit to some unknown but worthy photographer), which is better than the one I got on my iPad :-)
