No photos of here sorry. It is not the most picturesque place but we came here on Wednesday for supplies and have ridden out our first Bahamian cold front.
We are on anchor in quite a shallow but wide spacious and fairly sheltered harbour and when we arrived it was sweltering with light south winds and high humidity and at night fearsome amounts of bugs so that we ate inside with the fan going. But on Friday night a cold front arrived, clocked the wind round through 180 degrees and dropped both the temperature and humidity in an instant. Blankets on the bed at nights now!
The skies have been cloudy with a steady 20 knot wind blowing since and tonight it has increased with the arrival of some dark clouds which may be bringing rain.
However there is a brilliant supermarket within walking distance and after another visit tomorrow morning we hope to be leaving if the weather forecast is true and the wind abates a little.
