June 10 09 - Rockland Town Dock to Warren Island State Park
14 km, 2 1/2 hours
Still a raining blustery day. But Warren Island State park is close by. It is rainy, foggy and a bit lumpy. But - we can still see the bow of the boat - so off we go. The wind helps the speed and we get into Warren Island State Park in about 2 and a half hours. Cold and damp - but starting the stove and the three oil lamps warms the place up. The hot showers are a bonus as we were on 120 Volts on the dock, the hot water is really hot.
The schooner American Eagle is at anchor in the cove as well. No one else. Supper is baked halibut and stir fired potatoes and veggies. Tomorrow is a short day.
