Britt to Mill Lake August 25 - 26th
10 September 2017
We fueled up as the fog lifted and headed out in Byng Inlet and then the twists and turns in the small craft channel , rocks and met a few boats along the way including one being towed . The way was well buoyed and the charts kept us safe . By 2:30pm we were anchored in Mill Lake east of Killarney . No phone , no internet , tv not good as the boat motion kept it off and only power was the generator . The wind changed during the night and I was concerned - stupid - as everything was ok but then Lori was concerned .
On the 26th I was going to check the anchor so I started the motors only to find out the starboard motor was broken - lots of blue smoke and scraping sound - not good . I thought it was the turbo as the motor began to rev up when it was running - shut down quickly .
The wind changed again tonight - everything ok.
