My opinion to maintaining the integrity of the Awlgrip finish is frequent washing as the only necessary maintenance chore. People in the yard frequently ask me how I get it to look so good and I tell them how much work is involved and to never attempt it without professional advice and assistance since I don't have the heart to tell them the finish is idiot=proof.
