Well the time finally came, we went in to ask Gabriel the yard manager what day was going to work best, only to be asked " can you have your boat in the docks in 15 mins?" Ummmmm of course we can, our boat is 17 ft wide, the docks 18 ft wide.......6 inches clearance each side? Of course Doc can drive that in straight with a 15knt tail breeze and place it right in the slings. Actually thats exactly what we did , Denise and our friend Bruce on the bow to guide me( or I never would have made it) and next thing you know we are flying both hulls at .5 knts.
We barely fit in the Docks , we barely fit in the slings, but the yard is huge and we have pleanty of room and met some great new friends.
Bottom Line...... The boat is parked 6 inches of the ground wrapped up and ready for a well deserved rest,and a little refurbishing.
