It's NOT Always Sunny in Philadelphia!

Happy 10th Birthday, Lillian! Kim and Darren went off to work with the breakfast sandwiches Bill made for them and we stayed behind to work on the living room. I finished a second coat on all of the woodwork in the fireplace room and Bill cut down the radiator pipes below floor level. The radiators are no longer needed since Kim and Darren heat and cool with geothermal! So, room by room, the radiators and piping are being removed and floors and ceilings are being patched. I wrapped gifts, we took showers, and off we went to John and Vanessa’s house in Langhorne for Lillian’s birthday dinner. Kim and Darren arrived there from work, and Vanessa’s parents and her brother, John, joined us for a great meal. Lillian requested steak, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. Lots of gifts for her to open and then ice cream cake for all of us to eat!

Another cloudy, gray day! We could pine for the Sunshine State but it hasn’t been sunny there either lately. And it sounds like there is real rain on the way here this weekend. After breakfast Bill and I worked on the living room again. I am painting more woodwork and Bill patched holes in the floor. That pretty much took out the whole day. We showered and went to Harleysville to meet the O’Briens and Janet and Chris (who had movers pack up their boxes to take to Florida today from their home). They settle on June 21st! Chris is flying down to receive the moving van tomorrow and then he will be back to head to Florida with Janet and the car via Auto Train. A new chapter for them! We ate at The Butcher and the Barkeep and the food was excellent. Lots of laughs and we even had dessert!
