Block-toberfest
22 October 2011 | Block Island Sound
Richard
Meg sailing to BI. We headed out by 1045 and got great wind all the way to Block. It was a GREAT sail; beam reach, 11-13 apparent. We arrived by 1430 to an empty New Harbor. The town moorings and most of the private ones were removed so we anchored. There were maybe 10 boats in the whole harbor! We ate my hot, homemade, butternut/apple bisque that was in the crock pot. We sat on the boat and read for the afternoon.
