First Night at Anchor
24 November 2016 | Deep Bay - Antiqua
Frank
It's about 4 am, breezy and we are at anchor in Deep Bay at the North West End of Antigua.
It's also our first attempt of the season to send the blog via HF Radio. We are still waiting for the Ministry letter to enable us to get the new tender.
Meantime we have borrowed one from S/V Brisa who will be joining us on Friday. We met up with S/V Mckenna form our ARC trip, their baby has grown it to a toddler. Both sea and air temps are over 34c so swimming is very pleasant.
Mandy is sound asleep as the wind generator whirs in the background.
We have made contact with several OCC members over the SSB Radio Net, but many have not arrived out here yet.
