Diamond Rock and St Annes
15 January 2017 | Stainte Annes - Martinique
We had a calm and steady motor round the 12 nm passed Diamond Rock to St Annes on the South Western tip of Martinique yesterday and we made plenty of water on the way.
We are hoping to continue due south to St Lucia next week. On the way around we could see St Lucia and The Pitons very clearly as it is only about 20 miles away.
There are at least 6 Ocean Cruising Club boats here. We invited Dan from Eschaton for supper last night. We had spoken many times on the SSB but have never met him before. We are having lunch ashore with several other boats today.
We are also hoping to get some wifi soon so we can update the photos on the blog an pick up email.
It's a little breezy here but the anchorage is calm and the holding good. The new D400 wind generator is very happily topping up the batteries.
