Wet and Windy
05 December 2018 | Clarkes Court Bay - Grenada
It's is 6.00 am after a very windy night at anchor, it's been blowing Force 5 all night.
Yesterday we had some severe tropical showers, but.... it's warm out here.
We had a very enjoyable hike around Hog Island in the morning and found a beautiful bay on the far shore.
Simon from Brisa gave me some canvas which I have modified to form a front hatch rain / sun shade. It works brilliantly we can now leave the hatch open and get air through the boat over night.
I fitted a new shower rail in the forward heads to replace the grotty old one.
Fast Manicou delivered 4 cases of beer in preparation for meeting up with the thirsty Swedes in Bequai.
We had yet another OCC gathering at Whisper Cove Restaurant, this time to celebrate Robin from Mermaids Birthday.
We do more socialising out here in a few days than we do in months at home!
