True Blue Sailing
07 December 2018 | True Blue - Grenada
We left lifted our very muddy anchor at 08.00 yesterday morning, left Clarke’s Court Bay and motored south out through the reefs.
The wind and waves had died down from the previous day but there was still over 20 knots of wind and a some swell.
We turned west and headed down wind and raised the Genoa.
It was the first time the sails had been up this season, which is always a worry!
We had a very pleasant sail down the coast and recalibrated the new speed log on route to True Blue Bay.
We picked up a mooring ball near Brisa near the Hotel rather than drop an anchor.
All in all a very pleasant first sail.
We are planning to head to Carriacou soon.
