Wind in Union
12 December 2019 | Clifton - Union Island
Frank Hatfull | Windy
We had a short but bumpy crossing across to Union Island on Tuesday.
Unfortunately we caught no fish at all!
We are currently on a mooring ball right up by the Kite Surf School.
It has been absolutely amazing to watch them, they are so fast and so skillful as they pass within a few feet of Infinity B.
We helped Kalluna fit their new anchor yesterday morning and then walked across the Island to Sparrows for lunch.
It’s been a windy and wet couple of days and yesterday evening the wind swung right round from North East to South West. As a consequence we also swung right round into shallow water and touched the bottom.
We are planning to sail round to Chatham Bay today until the wind drops.
