Antigua and Fish
24 January 2020 | Jolly Harbour - Antiqua
Frank Hatfull | Variable
We arrived in Antigua late afternoon on Thursday from St Kitts.
Kalluna continued to St Barts with the intention of continuing to the BVIs.
The weather forecast for our passage was for light light variable winds from the SE.
The forecast was wrong, it was a bumpy passage with strong winds!
However, wid did catch 3 fish, 2 barracuda (which we threw back) and a Spanish mackerel (nothing like a UK mackerel) which we ate for supper.
The winds are now light and the the anchorage in Jolly bay is very calm and much fewer boats than normal.
We are now planning to spend a few days cleaning the boat ready for marketing photos.
