Thank you for all the various birthday wishes today!
I had a lovely birthday, somewhat different than the usual!
We had a breakfast birthday party with really cool cards from Joshua and Isabelle, and a great Gerber knife/tool (apparently secretly obtained from my favourite chandlers in Fiskardho) as a present! :-)
After our expedition ashore (see other blog...), this evening Anne and the children made a very creative and imaginative birthday cake from cookies and Oreo's, I may be requesting the same next year!

Extra:	This is the blog of our journey on Pepper, as we sail in the wake of Odysseus and his mates. It’s been a long time planning, with the voyage first thought of in the Summer of 2004 as we (Anne and Jonathan) sat on deck in the Grenadines, hearing the tales of liveaboard crews, and deciding one day [...] it would be us. Houses, jobs, babies (now children!) and schools came along to distract us – and the voyage has changed a little from the early thoughts of a year in the Pacific (although grass skirts never a good look on Jonathan) – such adventures for future years perhaps!. For now, the faithful crew of S/V Pepper will explore the far and wide of what Greece has to offer over our 3-month journey, and eat a lot of ice cream. More
