This is Basil, the youngest member of the crew. We are quite pleased with him, he's grown quite nicely over the last month and has just about out-grown his designated spot under the cockpit table. Joshua and Isabelle look after him very well, watering him regularly and giving him time in the sunshine.
Anyhow on to other matters.
Last night was a really rolly one in the anchorage, we were not quite sure whether it was passing super-tankers, or residual swell - but we were rocked to sleep then rocked awake again in the early hours!
Anyhow a straightforward whizz down to Kalamata - the most interesting parts were the sea current changes as we entered the Gulf, and the castle of Koroni - sister castle to Methoni, also Venetian.
On entering Kalamata harbour we were heartened to see the BP branded fuel dock and made ready to come alongside, but instead were directed to a berth and told fuel would arrive in a land tanker later. It duly did - in a Shell mini-tanker! Look what happens when Anne leaves the company!!
