Hi All! For any of you who have anchored in Lake Sylvia/Fort Lauderdale you should be familiar with the Southport Raw Bar. You take the dinghy under a small bridge, cross over the intercoastal waterway, down a canal to the Raw Bar. They let you tie up there for $10 a day and if you buy anything at their establishment they deduct the $10 from the bill. It is close by to shopping...Publix, Bluewater Books, lots of restaurants, book stores, pharmacies, etc. It really makes being on the hook in Ft. Lauderdale much easier. Needless to say, we were a frequent visitor!
