Wind on my nose, rain in my face

The forecast was for west to northwest wind today, but the local conditions in Fitz Hugh Sound were an unpredicted south to southeast, with lots of rain, which I motored into all day. Oh, well. I'm anchored now in Fury Cove, which is quite nice, with a half-dozen other boats. I had some soup and I'm warm and dry.
Tomorrow will probably be as rainy as today, but I don't think the wind will be much hindrance (or help) as I round Cape Caution and enter Queen Charlotte Strait. I'm yearning to experience some of the overabundance of hot, 90-degree days that my fellow Seattlelites have been complaining about this summer.
