The idea was to get to Castell�n today (38 Nm). But the weather forecast anounced storms in the afternoon. So, after 3,5 hours motoring directly into the wind, when the sky turned dark grey and wind suddenly rised to 15 knots, we decided to seek refuge in the port of Las Fuentes in Alcocebre. We secured to a fueling pontoon just in the entrance of the harbour, but the sea swell there made this a very unsafe place, and it turned out to be almost impossible to get away there. With the help of the very professional staff of the port we managed to draw Iris away and then I moved her to a comfortable berth back in this tiny port.
A sailing day of only 4 hours. At least we have some time to relac after yesterday's long trip.
We have a delay of 20 Nm according to plan but we hope to catch up soon.
