Sorry, the past days I haven't been able to update the blog. After Calpe, Dirk and I sailed up again to Moraira, where Virginia joined the team. Met some fine Irish people in Moraira, Eve and Peter on the 'Seascape of Down'. Iris and their boat had to be moved due to heavy swells in the marina. Once on a safer place, they offered us a glass of wine on board of Seascape. Thanks Peter and Eve!
Next day we sailed again around the cap Nao up to Denia. In Denia the last sailor came on board: May. I sailed with her from Denia to Ganda (once again full, once again moored to the 'Chill-out bar'; see previous post).
Next day we sailed to Valencia. The chief marinero recognized Iris as we entered Valencia harbour and instead of having to berth at the visitors berths far away from the rest of the harbour he arranged a perfect berth inside the marina itself. He also gave me a member pass, which I used to have a well-deserved swim in the club's pool.
This morning we filled up with diesel and we advanced another 36 miles from Valencia to Castelln. Barcelona is getting closer.
