Ode to Old Age

We made it back in time to do a little work on a project we have going in the back yard: a retaining wall. We have bought 4 palettes of bricks and we are about to lay them. We've hired a young man who is a very good worker and he has been ever so helpful. Today I (Jay) went to the ophthalmologist's office [...]

Out for a couple of weeks

In late June, Anita’s shoulder and my eye healed sufficiently to make a little journey on Karina C.

May 8 Pink eye still not healing with the over the counter polysporin, so Tina managed to hook me up a phone consultation with a doctor (hard thing to find on a Saturday) , and I was able to describe my symptoms and receive a prescription. Hopefully this will do the trick, but it was difficult for him to say for sure which type of infection I had. I was just thankful to get something, and not have to sit through 8 hours at emergency in a Covid environment, which could land me something worse than sore eyes. Tina and David spent the day with us. You could say we celebrated mother's day a day early, but it was great, and gets us headed on our was north again tomorrow.
May 9 Eyes don't seem to be responding to the prescription drops. On and off rain in the morning, but it eased off to beautiful sunshine in the afternoon. We motored up to Genoa Bay, had a nice walk after lunch and took cockpit showers. Good holding ground close off the dock in mud bottom.A full shower for Jay, and a PTA shower for me (pussy, tits, and ass). The last 2 days of rain weren't great, but now that the sun is out I feel a lot better about being out on the water. Looking forward however to my Roland RD 800 at home, and a tentative Friday jam session.
