The latest weather forecast has Ernesto moving through today and tomorrow, with light southerly winds in its wake. The cruise plan is to drive down tomorrow after dropping off a car at Liberty Harbor Marina, and staying aboard Saturday night. Sunday morning a few hours before high tide, we will drop the mooring and head up the Chesapeake for the C&D canal. There we will stay at anchor for Sunday night, and depart Monday for the 46nm to Cape May on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday will be spent offshore, with the anticipated landfall in NYC late on Wednesday afternoon.
