Day 3

Last night we played a guessing game: You guess where the wind went, and where it will come from next? And We├-ll try and steer to it.

Ha! You├-re wrong!

As a result, we had plenty of time to enjoy the moon-splashed night, and we did just that. Our dinner was a sumptuous combination of Peter├-s pulled pork and eat-it-before-it├-s-gone salad, topped off with a Kit Kat bar.

At 3:30 p.m., Philip announced our day made good mileage of 126NM. Though we├-d of course guessed a little higher, there was some degree of zig-zagging to be factored in, so all-in-all, we declared victory.

This morning, Tioga is on the move once again. The boys have the fishing lines set, but some how, I think the prey is safe. Wind is back again to the NE in the 15-knot range and we├-ve seem to have out run the squalls that gave us a full rainbow astern.

Who knows, perhaps today the captain will let us swim? A full report to come.
