A week has passed and unfortunately we are still in Corfu, still waiting for a bit of a weather window to get up to Dubrovnik. My niece, Chloe, has arrived there last Thursday and luckily is with two of her friends so they will enjoy themselves. I, however, am really disappointed and, according to Andy, have been a bit of a pain in the a***! We had our birthdays on Wednesday and I was even too fed up to buy myself a present!

On the plus side, I had wanted to be doing something good on my 60th birthday. On my 40th I did my 40th dive in the Caribbean. On my 50th, Andy took me on his Suzuki GSX 1400 on a tour of Co Cork. For my 60th, sailing on our own catamaran in the Mediterranean probably takes some beating!

So, if we get up to Dubrovnik in time to at least have a beer with my niece, that'll be fantastic. If not, that's the nature of sailing I suppose. She'll have to come out again somewhere else. This time, we'll make sure we are actually there before she books her flight!
