The changing head of Jason Rainger...

16 April 2008 | 1770, Queensland
On our way from Bundaberg to 1770 the boys decided to have a little bit of a tidy up as their heads were beginning to get a little wild and wooly. Jay had brought his clippers on board and Jason decided he would try his hand at them with disasterous results, as you will see from the shot on the left hand side. Contrary to what you might believe he actually meant for it to look that way and spent a full 24 hours like that at 1770, telling people when they looked at him strangely that he had been hit on the head by the boom.

It did nothing for his lovelife with Loretta refusing to go near him unless he had a hat on. He finally shaved the rest of it off a day later much to Loretta's relief.

No fish to speak of here, we didn't troll this time as the freezer is filled to capacity but we had a nice time in 1770 starting with a nice cold beer at the local pub that night.

The next day we had a nice ride into Agnes Water and this time all of our bikes stayed in one piece. Last time Jay and I rode to there we had all sorts of problems. Lots of walking and relaxing in for a couple of days and then we moved on to Pancake Creek.
