Progress to Suwarrow
All is well on Tango. Position is in this message. Weather: Wind 106M (from E) at 20-25K with gusts 5to28 in squalls (all light so far) Seas: SE swells @ 12 Ft with l8ft wind driven sea from E 80% obscured clouds (cumulos) Baro fell thru the day to 29.85"
Day started with the Genoa roller furling line unknotting itself and letting the entire HUGE genoa deploy in 25Kt winds with no way to retrieve it. I ended up using the recently fixed mast mount winch and lots of work wrapping line on the spool to get it back in . Took about 3 hr. The bow only went under once too... hard but done job. Still looking at arrive Friday or Saturday. We are staying south right now avoiding 3 atolls then will turn NW to head to Suwarrow.
