Passage to Florida 1

Rich and I eased out of the Isla Mujeras anchorage yesterday afternoon in post-card perfect conditions, feasting on the view: white sand beach, beach chairs, umbrellas, massage palapas on the water's edge, kids playing an: swimming... Checking out of the country was easy here, even made up for the hassles entering in Cozumel. First things first: sails, autopilot, fishing lines. Caught this tuna just 6 miles out, on my now favorite green and yellow feather plug (CSU colors!). Unfortunately in evening Rich was about that color, he nibbled a bit on a tasty tuna steak and I am sure will be up to speed before long. Conditions rolly, though making great time, leveraging the Gulf Stream in our favor for a 1 to 3 knot boost, which we should see for somewhat over half of the passage.
