Canine Concern

The dogs round here are looking worried. It is said that the Mistral is strong enough to blow dogs off chains so for those of our four-legged friends which are anchored by the usual pathetic little leather or rope numbers there is the prospect of an airborne trip to Corsica. Given the absence of aircraft in this arrangement you could see why they might be a touch subdued.
The good ship XII Bar Blues has a fresh crew (we had to send the last lot back - they were worn out) and we have become tourists instead of cruising yachtsmen.
In pursuit of this new status we visited the village of St Remy de Provence in search of amusement generally and lunch in particular. In this last regard we were very successful and a sense of lethargy now pervades the ship. This will be shaken off soon as the understanding is that the bar in the Royal Lymington Yacht Club is open.
Yottin is due to resume on Sunday when, it is hoped, the canine populations' worries will have abated.
