Apart from a worrying moment at Gatwick airport (discovered that we weren't allowed to fly to the US without an onward flight, which we consequently had to rush out and buy), all seemed to be going to plan. However we missed our onward connection so spent the first night of this adventure in a hotel in Newark airport, glamorous eh!
Fingers crossed Hurricane Wilma subsides and we can catch the next leg of the flight this morning (Wednesday).
