Billy Proctor has become one of the Central BC coast's most well-known fishermen, hand loggers, conservationists, and writers. Three books about his coastal life have been written with the help of a ghost writer. They are entertaining and very educational, giving the reader a special appreciation for how tough a life can be in all four seasons of the Central BC coast. He has seen so many changes over his life to the fishing, logging, and marine industries, and has seen fit to help conserve some of the past that he remembers. We enjoyed talking and listening to some of his stories which he easily shares. We also enjoyed his gift shop and the beach combing museum.
