The LongBottom Coffee Shop provided a morning pick-me-up with mochas, oatmeal and scones. A 'Local' called a fishing friend in Crescent City for us, and we learned about an inner safe passage through St. George Channel that would reduce our transit time, and keep us out of heavier weather. The sun was out, and blue skies above gave us a wonderful reprieve from yesterday's winds.
We made our way into the Crescent City harbor which has been rebuilt since the Japanese tsunami that they experienced a few years back.
