Preparations were made for an afternoon dinner potluck for nine in the cockpit of 'Julia Max'. Something for everyone: appetizers, BBQ turkey breast, ham with pineapple, beef steak, garlic mashed potatoes, yams, green beans with French onion noodles, fresh cranberry sauce, salad, and did I mention the chocolate souffle for dessert? Not bad for cruising boats! Then we had a white elephant present exchange with a twist in the rules that made it fun for all. The Bay was active with people enjoying Christmas Day on the water: jet skis, parasailing, pongas taking people from one destination to the next, fishing, snorkeling, and on and on. The sunny skies had a light breeze, but the temps were 88F and humid. But our thoughts included you, our family and friends. And where ever you may be, have a delightfully Merry Christmas!
