Somehow we thought we would be at the Canal, but it's over 250 miles away from Costa Rica. Our goal was to be at Panama City in six days. Maybe we'll make it. But we won't see much else. Panama has lots of islands along the Pacific coast. In addition are lots of rocky shores and shoals to watch out for. So we need to navigate well. Our projected transit date is March 15th. We'll have to see how that goes. We are anchored at Islas Secas (Dry Islands) and find it very attractive with a handful of homes ashore. We're on the lee shore with comfortable winds and no sea state. Onward tomorrow!
