Scuba Diving Cozumel
03 May 2018 | Cozumel, Mexico
We spent two days scuba diving four times in Cozumel. Some of our sightings included: black-tipped and lemon sharks, southern rays, an eagle ray, yellow ray, moray eels, lobster, king crab, a large hawksbill turtle, 50+ starfish, a four foot grouper, 5 barracuda, oodles of reef fish, including a lion fish which was immediately killed by our Dive Master, and lots of coral varieties. Visibility: 100+'. Water temperature: 82F. On the fourth dive we had 1-2 knots of current: so a drift dive for sure. We saw a Spectacular Toad Fish, only found here. Sunny weather, 86F, and turquoise blue water. It was a fantastic dive area! And Cozumel felt very safe at all times of the day and evening. Nice!
