Our refrigerator compressor was a 'non-start'. Ice became a poor alternative. It would be like placing a block of ice in your home refrigerator, and try to save your food from spoiling. 50F degrees was all we could manage. Ugh! We tried recharging the refrigerant unsuccessfully. Then working with a local marine contractor, we were able to get an exact replacement. He had worked with Frigoboat for many years, so we were amazed that he had on hand our keel-cooled model...a K50H! It plugged into our smart control box, our thermostat control, and our keel cooler. God bless us everyone! We're back up and running at 36-38F degrees.
