Shopping on Main Street in Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas, we came upon a steel drum band at the Post Office Square playing for the public. 50 players of high school age were performing pop tunes and Christmas Carols at a highly trained level. Sue has been eager to hear a steel drum band since arriving in the USVI, so while we were shopping, our ears perked up at the sound of the band. They played easily for an hour. Afterwards our ears were ringing for awhile! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!
