Preparations for Heading North

23 March 2022 | Kalispell, Montana
George Stonecliffe
To UN-winterize! After returning from a Spring-Break in Montana downhill skiing and birding with our son's family, we will be prepping 'Julia Max' in Roche Harbor, WA. The winter boat cover will come off, the boat will be washed and cleaned, the through-hulls opened, the engine run, the cockpit enclosure set-up, sails installed, and check-ups on the wind generator and Espar heater. Great fun!
We are looking at a mid-May send-off!
Canada has announced that fully vaccined cruisers will not need any further testing to enter the country! Yeah!
