This photo is of the church in Santa Rosalia, designed by Eiffel of Eiffel Tower fame. It was shipped in pieces from France during the period when the French mining company, Boleo, was the main employer in the area.

Took a couple of driving excursions to see the sights around Puerto Escondido and to provision.

Very exciting time: 153 meter yacht grounded on a reef, one mooring broke loose and a catamaran with a missing single-hander was towed in.
