Windy Equinox
23 October 2007 | Whangarei
Wendy
Well as per usual fo us, we were unable to go sailing over the Labour Day Weekend, due to weather. We have had it pretty windy over the last 4 days, but nothing compared to down in the South Island.
We managed to get the sails back on Kabuki, and Paul is fibreglassing the end grain on the Sampson Posts. Being as I am vertically challenged, He is also making me a step to get onto the forward bunk.
We ran into Melissa from Odessa, a Westsail that arrived in Whangarei from America via French Polynesia. She had a little girl a few days after they arrived. She is one brave young Lady. We are hoping to get them over for a barbecue and swap some info about boats of course.
Anyway enough for today,
cheers
