Back to the boat

showery again

After my little diversion down in Christchurch, I have been sent back to the salt mines ie: scraping anti-foul of the bottom of the boat.
After about 6 x 2hour sessions, I have managed a whole 1 side of the boat. There was a wee celebration (Angels Delight) last night to pass this momentous occassion. The only thing is, that was the easy side of the boat, the other side seems to be sticking to the hull like the proverbial "shit to a blanket".
Paul and I went down today to install a port hatch in the floor of the aft lazarette, Paul had to hang upside down into the lazarette. I could not forgo the opportunity to snap this photo of Him diving into His work. I am having a day off scraping anti-foul, the weather is not condusive to scraping paint.
On our way home we met the new owner of Odessa, a Westsail 32 that is on the hard down the road from us. Colin is from Australia, and He bought Odessa to sail back to Australia single handed. He will be heading off in a week or so.
The weekend is here again, I have to work tomorrow until 1pm, but after that I will probably be down the boat.
