Sails' off..

21 June 2009 | Town Basin
Beautiful
Well I had a long weekend this weekend, taking some time in lieu. But what do you think..... I got bloody sick with a cold/sore throat. Felt miserable on Friday, but better yesterday and then today had a headache all day. But we had planned to take the sails off Kabuki this weekend.
So there we were down the boat, wind blowin'(wind chill), Paul taking sail's off and putting them on and measuring them, and changing them. I felt bloody miserable, cold and sick, then we had to go to a field near our place and fold the darn things...... the joys of sailing.

I feel a lot better now, and it wasn't really so bad. But at the time it felt like shit. So we didn't get the main sail off, Paul decided to leave that for another day ( wise man). Now the sails are sitting on the lounge room floor, to dry out that little bit more. I can see why some woman have trouble coping with a sailing partner.

But anyway it was a beautiful weekend, we have had lovely sunny days, with clear crisp mornings. This is supposed to continue for a few more days. I love winter..
