Well the past weekend was pretty horrible weather-wise. We had gale force winds from Saturday Afternoon till Sunday morning. There was also a fair bit of rain, but not enough to cause serious flooding. Paul and I went down to check Kabuki on Sunday morning, and the wind was fair whistling straight up the river into the marina. It was pretty cool listening to the wind in all the mast's, and watching the boats snatching at their mooring lines.
Paul has been doing some work on our new/second hand dinghy. When He has finished working on it we will need to do another test row, oh what a shame.....
We cut out the new sail cover on sunday, will get into the sewing tomorrow perhaps. I will need to check out my sewing machines though and decide which one to use, I have four. A 1904? Singer hand crank, a 1950's electric Singer, a 1980's Janome, and a 1990's Bernina ( best not use this one, as it is my Mum's).
We are hoping to get a new Genoa/Yankee for the boat, this is the sail that goes on the forestay ( the front triangle sail ). This is turning out being a complicated process, working out how it will fit and what size to have etc. But Paul is getting it sussed.

Anyway cheers for now.
