WONDER OF WONDERS! As soon as I blog about it - viola - an email from the FCC with a PHONE NUMBER to call for help. Anyone want to bet how long I stay on hold? Perhaps this will work for adding the EPIRB registration to the rest of the file!
Another step forward - Marty has successfully downloaded (via DSL) SailMail for a third time, and this time actually sent an email to our address. So THAT part is working - now we just have to see if it will work via the SSB/Pactor modem. As we now have the radio part working, if things don't go ok we will have isolated the problem to the modem. PROGRESS!
