It almost seems like these insurance companies may as well just send out a rep to LOOK at the boat and INTERVIEW the owners, they need so much info!
And, a big thing I discovered - SOME insurers don't ADVERTISE that they cover cruising journeys, but they will consider it on an individual basis. Now, how would one know that?!?

The faulty cable for the SSB / Modem is being installed today also - hopefully it now is going to work and we are going to have a chance to practice making blog posts from aboard via the SSB. There is a kind of coded format that you submit, so it may take a practice or two.
