Howdy We pulled anchor at 0600 in a light drizzle that has followed us into the channel between Fatu Hiva and Tahuata. We picked up a nice breeze right after leaving Fatu Hiva which now died off so we are bank on the motor. Hanavave turned out to be a disappointment due to junk weather. Lots of rain Mauka,so the bay was dirty and no good for swimming and diving.. The wind and sea were from all directions so the sleeping was a bit difficult too. We did get a little sun yesterday and were able to do laundry and prep the boat for the short trip to Tahuata. Now hoping for som clearing this afternoon but it doesn't look promising. Should be in Hapatoni by 1400, maybe will stay or maybe move farther down the island for the night.
