wow. heading into anchorage last night after a long motor through merritt island wildlife preserve feeling tired when what to our wondering eyes should alight on our gps but "summer semester" ahead. al and betty caffo from our "yacht" club in havre de grace were in the same spot. so much fun to see them, drink some wine and share some whines about our adventures so far. hopefully we'll see them in the exumas next.
today we had a short day and are now at harbourtown marina in ft pierce. I LOVE THIS PLACE. if i ever live at a marina this would be it. the showers are like spas!! i even shaved my legs as we're now in shorts. it's a good sendoff to our overnight tomorrow and the folks are very friendly as are the pelicans and manatees.
