Autumn Update
It is Indian Summer, and we are in the process of closing up our home in the beautiful mountainous and plan for our annual migratory trek to be on S/V Karma. It's been an adventurous Summer vagabonding around, tending to the Orchard, visiting family and friends out East and enjoying the east coast. You can catch a ray of our journey as we prepare to travel down the Cali Seaboard to be back in Guatemala! let the journey begin! ~~

There is no end to exotic fruit in tropical Guatemala. From one day to the next the selection changes. The nice thing about Guatemala is that Each time I go to town I'm surprised by something new! Traveling the Yucatan

Three weeks of travelling has sent us from fronteras through bits of Belize and up into Mexico where we've been enjoying beautiful
Azure oceans, sugar sand, cenotes, tulum ruin, akumel turtles and Mexican food in abundance.
We write and take pictures to share because the perception of the world, and the experiences we've lived, and things learned isn't for us to keep. We share it with you to make you see and feel the magic that is hidden between these moments, these places, these people. Not many see it, but it's there. And if we always choose to see it, that kind of magic will seep into all of us. Filling our hearts, our souls, our bodies, with its beauty that we won't choose to see things any other way.
We are on a wonderful travel quest for a few days over the Christmas holidays into Merida, a refreshing change from the hippy vibe of Tulum and crazy touristy playa del Carmen. This place reminds me of Antigua.Guatemala with Its cobblestone streets, amazing spanish influenced architecture and contemporary flair. Time to go enjoy wandering the city, smiling children, Mixed of Mayan and spanish peasant people all around. To me this is the perfect " gift', to experience and see a new part of the world in fresh new eyes.
