29 August 2012
Cooler, northerly breeze, no humidity..
One thing both of us learned to appreciate in our military careers was time. In order to meet executive goals you do whatever it takes to get it done.
We will still have tasks to do but we must soon formally transition from a maintenance mentality to an operational status.. even at its minimum standards. By this weekend we will remove all that is not staying on the boat and in will come all things belonging to the boat and our gradual move aboard will start. Long term we would like to set the 14th or 15th September as the official rebirth of KARMA IV complete with participation in the Convoy Cup as our first official sail.
